8040 is an installation composed of the last 402 cigarette packs (8040 cigarettes) smoked by the artist from the beginning of the COVID -19 pandemic in 2020 until the moment he quit smoking. As a metaphor for addiction, the work takes the form of a pillar, extending from floor to ceiling.
